Booking a private van from Siargao Airport is simpler than ordering food delivery. Three steps, under 60 seconds, and your entire arrival experience is locked in. Here's exactly how it works.
Step 1 — Fill in the Booking Form (Under 60 Seconds)
Navigate to the Shuttle Siargao booking form. You'll need to enter:
- Your name: As it appears on your ticket — this goes on the driver's sign at the airport
- Flight number and airline: Critical for tracking delays (e.g., "5J 593" or "PR 1234")
- Arrival date and time: Your scheduled landing time at Sayak Airport
- Number of passengers: This determines your price tier (1–4, 5–7, or 8+)
- Hotel/villa name and location: Your exact accommodation name in General Luna
- Special luggage: Mention surfboards, large equipment, or anything oversized
Select "Private Van" as your transfer type. That's it. Hit submit.
Step 2 — Receive Your WhatsApp Confirmation
Within a few hours (often within minutes during active hours), you'll receive a WhatsApp message containing:
- Your complete booking summary
- Your assigned driver's full name
- Your driver's direct mobile number
- Your confirmed price (₱2,500, ₱3,000, or ₱3,500)
- Any notes about your specific drop-off location
Save this message. Screenshot it if you prefer. You now have everything you need for your arrival.
Step 3 — Arrive, Meet Your Driver, and Go
Exit Sayak Airport terminal. Walk through the main doors into the pickup area. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name clearly written on it. You'll also have their number if needed.
Load your bags. The driver handles most of the heavy lifting. Get in the air-conditioned Toyota Hiace. The journey to General Luna takes approximately 45 minutes on the direct private route.
When you arrive at your hotel: pay your driver in cash (PHP) or GCash. The amount was confirmed in Step 2 — no surprises.
